Jozef studied law at Comenius University in Bratislava. During his studies, he completed an internship at the Office of the National Council of the Slovak Republic at the Department of Legislation and Approximation of Law. He also worked as a legal assistant at Havel, Holásek & Partners. After graduating, he worked as a junior associate at Semančín Poláček.
At Poláček & Partners, he deals with non-tariff regulation and the representation of clients in proceedings before the Regulatory Office for Network Industries. He also provides consultancy in the field of renewable energy sources and innovations in the energy sector and regularly publishes and lectures on these topics at energy conferences.
He was listed among the key Slovak lawyers in the field of energy by The Legal 500 ranking agency.
He speaks English and in his free time he enjoys music, reading and spending time with his family.
