Profile

Pavol studied law at Comenius University in Bratislava, European law at Université Paris-Est in Paris and European public administration at KU Leuven in Belgium. He started his legal practice at ULC Čarnogurský and participated in working stays and internships in South Korea (Yulchon, Seoul) and Paris (Thieffry & Associés).

Before founding Poláček & Partners, he managed the Bratislava branch of Havel, Holásek & Partners, and was a partner at Semančín Poláček.

He is currently registered as an attorney-at-law in the Slovak Bar Association, as a Solicitor for England and Wales in The Law Society (currently not practicing) and as an arbitrator of the Arbitration Court of the Slovak Bar Association.

Renowned international rankings such as Chambers & Partners, IFLR1000, The Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal regularly place him among the leading Slovak experts in the field of energy, litigation and real estate and construction.

He is fluent in French and English.

He likes to spend his free time with his wife and five children, reading good books, cooking and in nature.
